Biography
Lauren Elizabeth Tarbel is an Austin-based multidisciplinary fine artist, illustrator, and photographer. She attended the Arts Magnet in Dallas and The University of Texas at Austin. After working as an artist in New York she moved back to co-found Moon Studio and Gallery East Austin in 2017.
Her current works include large-scale abstract paintings, intricate collages, and works on paper. She creates thought-provoking works of art that inspire and explore her fascination with mysticism, spirituality, astronomy, nature, and storytelling.
Lauren’s work has been featured by Women and Their Work, AMOA, the Dallas Museum of Art, and various art galleries at home and abroad.
